Why LINE-X?
LINE-X is the only company that actually develops and controls manufacturing of its own material,
guaranteeing consistent and reliable products with the highest quality control. The
material is design to dry to the touch in a manner of seconds which allows an even
distribution of material (i.e. the peak, valleys, and vertical surfaces are even thickness
with out runs or sags). Additionally, LINE-X uses a high temperature, high pressure system
that yields a durable factory looking finish. We encourage you to take a look at the
competition. Not so sure if our competition would say the same! Take a look at
the LINE-X Advantage.
Does LINE-X interfere with installation of other accessories (i.e. campers, fifth
wheels, etc)?
Generally, there should be no problem with the install of other accessories. If you have
an accessory whose installation tolerance is less than 1/4", please be sure to
discuss it with your local dealer. LINE-X goes extremely well with fifth wheels. You can
first get the truck bed coated and then install the fifth wheel plate. Some dealers will
even coat the plate for you as an added benefit.
Is LINE-X repairable?
Yes, if you damage your truck, your local LINE-X dealer can make seamless
repairs.
How long does it take?
Typically about 3 hours. Check with your local dealer but you can normally drop it off
in the morning and then pick it up that afternoon.
Can I use my truck right away?
Yes, LINE-X sets up in a about 3-5 seconds so it will definitely be ready to go when
you pick up your truck. Wait about 24 hours for heavy duty use to allow it to fully cure.
What about the drain holes in my truck bed? Will they still be open?
Yes, one of the advantages of LINE-X over a drop-in is your truck's natural drainage
system remain as designed. You don't get that splash the first time you go down the
road after a big rain or get the big ice cube frozen in the back in the winter!
Will LINE-X withstand temperature extremes?
Yes, LINE-X is rated for use in temperatures from subzero to 250 F. You can find LINE-X
trucks in the performing to specs in the cold of Alaska to the heat of Arizona.
If you have a higher temperature requirement (up to 350F), we have a
commercial grade product that may be a good option for you.
Will the bed feel hotter than the rest of my truck?
No, due to the fact that LINE-X is bonded to the metal of your truck allowing efficient
heat transfer (i.e. no thermos effect compared to a drop-in) it actually
"feels" cooler than the metal on your truck on a hot day.
How much does it cost?
Each LINE-X Dealership is independently owned and operated and is free to set prices at
fair market value. We recommend you contact a Dealer Near You and get a quote for
your specific application. The price can vary depending on the size of the vehicle and
whether you want under vs. over the rail and/or if you want a color application.

other workmanship issues. If you happen to move, the warranty
